Nowhere, Nothing, No-one-Somewhere, Something, Someone

On a strange day we stood in the middle of Nowhere Wondering if we'd meet a Nobody Wondering if we were Nobodys that a Somebody would stumble upon And as we stood there and stared into Nothing We felt Someone watching us Somehow We were these little Nothings- Nothings who were looking up to Something- Someone we thought was very different A daring Someone who wouldn't just let 'good enough' pass Someone who was interesting, had a career, had a family Someone who wasn't mediochre We wanted that Someone who had noticed we Nothings To teach us how to get out of Nowhere But none of us were brave enough to ask Even though he was looking right at us So we sat there and wondered Thought about it- and made no descision We wrote it down in fanfiction Spilled it out in poetry But not one of us Nobodys Was going to ask this Somebody How we could be special too Today? You wonder what happened- Did we ever ask? Well, let this be your answer. I am sitting here in Nowhere Staring at a photograph of Somebody And wondering if he'll ever stop by again So maybe- just maybe We can join him Somewhere
