phobic, by Anna Lorena Subscribe to rss feed for Anna Lorena

there was a darkness that swept over the mind
a chill that grasped the spine
as the heart beat a little quicker and the palms began to
sweat
fear
it infiltrated because of something so simplistic
so routine
but also so phobic
why?
past experience deemed it so
there was no way to avoid it
but it hit hard
and without mercy
and no one to aid in keeping it at bay
no one to talk to
no on to dream on
because the empty rooms of cyberspace
only flashed black
popup windows
and dead phonelines
disconected and disjointed
as the phobic searched for someone to connect with
literally
and figuratively
