the soldier was at home finally, but his friends and family
could tell something was wrong he just wasen't his old self.
that night the soldier went home and as he laid in bed
trying to go to sleep he started to think about the war.
about the people he met, about the lives he impacted, and
about the people he killed. fourteen in all he didnt know
their faces, he didnt know their families, he didn't know
about their lives. all that he knew was that they were dead,
he heard thr crying of their families when they found out
their child was dead. he felt bad at first but then he
became immune to it all, numb to the killing, the war, to
the world. as he lay there in bed thinking about the lives
he had taken, he decided to take one more and this one he
would feel. so he got out of bed and went to his closet
there he got a pistol out of an old shoe box. he was ready
to feel again ready to take that last life so he did. at
three a.m on april the second the soldier was pronounced
dead from a gunshot wound to the head, they decided it was
sucicide...he took the last life
