Where do we go from here? When the best of the race seems to have been run And we have fallen behind? Where do we go from here? Do we stagger onward Striving to catch up Struggling at an impossible feat? What do we do When the impossible seems our goal? Do we merely sit down Do we admit to defeat? Must we be satisfied with what is And not what we could do With the place we have? Or... Is there another way? So what if we fall behind? From behind We don't have to worry about keeping up at all! We can enjoy the scenery If we stop worrying About trying to get ahead. So look around- Where are you running? And have you ever really stopped To smell the roses? To see the delicacy of the trees?
