The Flower's Wings, by itty bitty Subscribe to rss feed for itty bitty

A flower must bloom before it takes form

It's bigger than life and never the norm

The petals free from it's captive, closed [it waits for the
sun]

Fly through the air, a brilliant rose [speck of nature's
dust]

The wind tells them to leave a message [upon my cheek]

Toward the sun they'll fly, oh yes they'll fly

Caught in nature's grapple

Toss in the golden apple

A message to the world

Yes, I have wings

And I will bloom

I will stand out from the crowd [of grass and thorns]

I'm allowed [to stand out from the crowd]

I'll grow some wings and fly

I will bloom [reach for the sun]
