An Unhappy Ending, by ~ Gemz ~ Subscribe to rss feed for ~ Gemz ~

Walking alone in the rain,
Daggers on her icy cheeks,
Her heart is frozen, soul is dead,
Erase the madness in her head.

The sparkle in her eyes,
Faded long ago,
She recalls the days, when she felt alive,
When she knew who she was.

Laughing with friends,
Was all that mattered then,
But when it comes down to it,
Those smiles were still fake.

Now all she feels,
Is the searing apathy, crippling fear,
The sorrow everlasting,
Choking her tears.

So tired of pretending,
She needs an escape,
Find comfort in pain,
And in the fact, that she has a way out.

Preparing the lethal dose,
They will all forget her name,
The medication never works,
In small quantities.

Her empty future,
Her untold destiny,
Will cease to exist,
This is the end.
