Solved Puzzle

It happened tonight, we reunited again.
You were calm and collected, as always.
I looked at you, oh how you've changed.
You're no longer the person i knew, yet
you're everything like you were before.
Seeing your happiness tore my heart in two,
it took everything i had not to break down.
In those moments of silence, i discovered reality;
we're nothing like we were, and never will be.
Things will never be the same, and for that i apologize.
Seeing you smile with the same old grin on your
face made me realize that everything is exactly how
it should be, exactly in it's place.
Our puzzle is solved.
