The power of words

Words can be a very powerful thing,
if you are not careful, your words just might sting.
They can tear the strongest of friendships apart,
and can also bring warmth to a loved ones heart.

The power of words

they can help a person who is dieing to cope
but they can also, give a person false hope
they can destroy a person's self-esteem,
and give inspiration to pursue your dreams.

The power of words

they can be twisted, to leave you with the blame,
and they can burn you, Like a hot burning flame.
They can show how important someone is to you
and they can reveal, when a friend is, not true

the power of words

Remember everyone is different, some are strong,
and can handle things better when they go wrong.
Some cannot keep their emotions locked up inside
and when they are hurting, they run and hide.

The power of words

some people are truthful, even if the truth hurts
some do not think first, their words they just blurt.
What may not hurt me, may just hurt you
then there is nothing else left you can do

the power of words

once you speak the words, they cannot be erased,
and you and your words must be faced.
You could pay a high cost,
so think first, what could be lost

The power of words

Just remember, how powerful your words could be,
and how they could effect you and me.
