Your Eye's Calligraphy, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Every second feels it's made of glass,
I'm always reluctant to let it pass.
You could twirl me out into the snow,
Instead of letting me live in this glow.
Breathing sugar sometimes makes me afraid,
The falling of this sunset's just delayed.
I want so much to say I'm secure,
But the sniper's reached me here before.

Say that you'll never try to bring me down,
Never let this love end with a razor blade.
Say that you'll never leave me with the blame,
I couldn't hold the weight, lost to your fate,
Say that you'll remember who you saved.

I can see it in your eye's caligraphy,
I feel guilty that you're in love with me.
I don't deserve the adoration on your face,
Yet it feels like I belong here in this place.
The shadows sing a melodic lullaby,
Reprimanding my glittered heart with each sigh.
I want so much to say I'm secure,
But I've been up these stairs before.

I'll always be finding that I'm stepping onto air,
But despite it, I won't fight it, I won't forget you care.
And these years have taught me hatred but I've survived the
fight,
I'm just scared that I'll be watching when you turn off the
light.

Say that you'll never try to bring me down,
Never let this love end with a razor blade.
Say that you'll never leave me with the blame,
I couldn't hold the weight, lost to your fate,
Say that you'll remember who you saved.

Je t'aime. Volim te.
