Your fingers zip into mine, interlinking,
Swinging in content's sway.
Bubbly foices fizz in cul de sac quarells,
Simmering into a meeting of silenced lips.
You hold me as if the helium you inject in my laughter,
Might carry me away if you ever let me go.
You always pull me closer with the cuteness in your smile,
The turquoise in your eyes wraps around me in a chain.
Links of coloured memories shine,
Entwined with rusted sepia reminders.
Vivid ribbons of emotion uncurl,
As your voice sifts the electric air,
"I love you."
