Running, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Crashing back,
To where we've been.
Replaying slowly,
Each greyscale scene.
Words are easy,
Static's a dangerous thing.
I try to fly away,
But you've stolen my wings.

__Don't you understand how to change?
Each day's replicated, it's too complicated,
This darkness isn't strange.__

The silence doesn't hide the ice in your eyes,
  Sharpened time and deadly lies.
Stop at the cliff before you fall,
You're still connected to us all.

Shadowed logic,
Says this won't end,
Because you don't know,
How to be a friend.
You don't seem to care,
About the agony you cause.
I look for escape,
But you locked all the doors.

__There's too much weight, won't you let it go?
I don't want to be, in your misery,
But you drag everyone below.__

If I was indifferent then I could walk away,
It's because I care that I always stay.
I think that you need to find your reflection,
Instead of running in the other direction.

~What part of 'love' don't you understand?
~Why can't you hear our heart's demands?
(You break everything that I put in your hands).

It's really nice to see how much you have grown and improved as a writer since I started reading your poems. Excellent work, my friend.
