Drenched, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

The drops surrendered from the sky,
Within seconds we were drenched right through,
But there was no where I'd have rather been,
Then laughing in the rain with you.
Hesitation overwhelms each oppurtunity,
When will we capture time and slowly set it free?

In an animated world of imagination,
We sunk into the couch and bad entertainment,
Letting time trickle over intentions,
Creating space due to constant judgement.
It doesn't really matter what they're thinking,
Is it true that I'm not the only one sinking?

No subtlety in leaning against the wall,
You knew that I was waiting for it baby,
But you were halfway out the door to avoidance,
I rolled my eyes, "You must be kidding me".
Anticipation is no longer sweet to taste,
When will we blanket in blackness such waste?
