In Loving Memory

An angel wept upon the day
As the time had grown so near
To take back the loan that heaven gave
From someone that loved so dear
The angel shed her tears this day
Knowing the lost beauty would bring sorrowful grief
To loose time with one who loved her so brings lose beyond belief
An angel’s tears fell to earth this day
For the task that she was given to serve
May each tear that rain down from the sky
Bring loving memory that she would deserve
The angel cries with joy this day
For now such grace blesses with flight
As the one you cared for oh so dear now guides our day and night
