~~Vampyric Flower~~, by FirePoet Subscribe to rss feed for FirePoet

Standing proud

The white rose

So innocent

Fragrance so sweet

With it's soft petals

So delicately arranged

Perfectly flawless

Almost

It's long slender stem

With all it's leaves

So cleverly concealing

It's dangerous little fangs

If not careful

It's sure to prick

One's tender skin

In it's urge, of hunger

Crimson droplets

Drip against the delicate petals

Flowing to the leaves

Trailing down the slender stem

Of the vampyric flower
