Cloudy Skies, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Our love,
Is a velvet cloth,
Laid gently over a bed of spikes,
Now I'm worried,
About how much weight,
We can put on it,

My head,
Slips from chord to chord,
I'm humming the tune,
But can never quite,
Find the lyrics,
When I try,

Your eyes,
Tint every daydream,
With turquoise,
Glowing their way,
Into each second,
Of silence between,

We stand,
In a pink chalked circle,
I always want to run,
Before the rain,
Washes it away,
Again.
