I'm Waiting, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Green eyes glow at me,
As we file through the rain,
We're smiling in reaction,
I'm ignoring,
Every thread of pain,
Can't fight attraction,

Permeated, soaked through,
It's only me, it's only you

I should be in your arms,
Not leaning against the wall,
Just waiting,
Forget the alarms,
I can't prevent this fall,
Can't help relating,

Frustrated, what to do?
It's only me, it's only you,

Will you ever really step over the line?
Will you ever really offer a hand to me?
I already feel that it's true,
But I need you to see...
I'm waiting,

Blue eyes glow at you,
As you're hiding from the rain,
Can't help but smile,
So confused,
How did you get such pain?
Each second is the longest while,

Wondering, what this could be,
It's only you, it's only me,

Standing opposite,
It's all so complicated,
Just waiting,
Considering it,
Emotions have been allocated,
Still debating,

Patience flees, leaves misery,
It's only you, it's only me,

Will I ever really stop going insane?
Will I ever really get a guarantee?
You already know what it is,
But I need you to see...
I'm waiting.
