___Slip___, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Fingers tap dance across keys
To align black shapes into feeling,
Shocks of electricity
Leave my senses and mind reeling,
Listening to the wild wind howl
Along with my hungry heart,
Intense questions on the prowl
Ask what keeps us apart,

?*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*??*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*??*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*?

Clinging onto starry hope
Clutching advice to keep me warm,
Amazed by every horoscope
That accurately predicts every storm,
'Don't be over critical
You'll ruin a perfect courtship',
It's hard not to be analytical
When I'm wondering which rock will make me slip.

?*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*??*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*??*?*?*?*?*?*?*?*?
