What's Real, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Darling I'm frightened, far too afraid,
To step on the edge and see if I fall,
I have this phobia of saying how I feel,
Because in the memories I lost it all,

Can't speak with words, can you read actions?
I could have it wrong and you don't feel this way,
Too busy breaking to consider your head,
But why'd you invite me over for the day?

Misused, abused, confused, accused by my heart,
It was a long time ago that you loved me,
I've been dismayed but did that love fade?
Give me eletricity to jolt out of this misery,

Step on the edge and see if you fall,
In the memories we lost it all,

Please say that you feel it, don't leave me hoping,
It's a heated game of friction whenever you smile,
Active imagination, decieving thoughts,
Hold me so I can see what's real for a while,

Break it to me gently with blunted laughs,
If you only feel hollow inside,
I know you're still hurting over her,
I'll share the tears that you cried,

Hating, waiting, debating, relating to mistakes,
Time has gone by oh time has gone by,
I've seen her dirt and baby it hurts,
Each breath I take seems to be a lie,

It's a heated game of friction whenever you smile,
Hold me so I can see what's real for a while.
