My Reality, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Say that it doesn't matter,
That I'll be okay,
That I don't need light,
To see through each day,
Tell me I can capture time,
And set it all right,
That I have reason,
Reason to fight,

But all I recieve is artificiality,
And what I really need is reality,

So if it's real, if it's true,
Don't play with me,
Just to be hurt, anew,
Without assurance or solidity,
I could use some hope,
So if it's all as you say,
Then stop dodging words,
And make it okay,

Whisper that I'm special,
Let me feel it from far away,
Give me that sunshine,
So I can see through each day,
Help me to push away pain,
So it doesn't seem wrong,
Hurry, hold me up,
So that I can be strong,

But all I get is letters aligned,
Supposed to be some significant sign,

So if it's real, it's true,
I want to hear it,
I won't be hurt, anew,
I just won't take it,
I could just about cope,
If it's all as you say,
If you'd stop dodging words,
And make it okay,

All I recieve is artificiality,
Right now you could be - my reality.
