Perfectly Flawed, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

With the nights caress to blanket her pain,
She lay under the stars with salty rain,
Each cut afresh, each scar trying to heal,
Each attempt to escape the depth she feels,
She consciously orders each breath she takes,
Repressing every twinge her tired heart makes,
Perfect lips set in a solemn frown,
Tangled hair streaming out over the ground,
Mascara smudges reveal a lost care,
It doesn't matter because hope isn't there,
Once days glowed with a warmth now gone,
But smiles receeded and sparkle was withdrawn,
Wrapped in a million textures of lies,
So tragically beautiful in some peoples eyes.
