Once upon a midnight star
I wished for you and now you're here.
A dream come true, a love so new.
Alone together, just we two.
When sunlight fades,
Sweet stars parade,
To light the love we both made.
And with the dream and morning light,
our love is gone.
Oh why did you have to go away?
To escape the light, I'll await the night
And wish again for you,
Upon a midnight star.
