Moon Play, by Sandwich Massacre Subscribe to rss feed for Sandwich Massacre

Oh teasing moon -tangos with this globe
How the symmetry of two inertias
Will deny a yearning touch
A libidinous gravity impelled to gaze into wanton eyes
Moon, how you hush desires
With your crisp blue whispers

You play with the heart of the sea
As you hide behind hasty clouds
They thin like lace and illumine by your breath
Till you burst from their curtains
And shine a diamond path along the raging waves

Oh teasing moon- tangos with chill-bumped skin
How the distance between us
Obscured by your intensity
Revealing the contour of an angelic surface
Moon, how you rage like fire
In your crisp blue whispers

You play with the glow of my eyes
As you sweep across the sky
You evanesce my consciousness
Till I am taken by you
And inhale my sight

Oh teasing moon -tangos with the night
How your sharp radiance
Vibrates the life of all things
And steals the wake of all things
Moon, how you leave me in a trail of your darkness
How you leave me in a trail of your stars
In the echo of your crisp blue whispers
