Intoxicated, by HangmanTheory Subscribe to rss feed for HangmanTheory

Today is a bad day,
But then what else is new?
The drugs keep my emotions at bay,
So how about some coke, too?

Let’s get intoxicated beyond belief,
With whatever we can find.
This will surely bring us relief,
To my problems I will become blind.

Nothing is real;
You’re not really there.
So light and weightless I feel,
I’m floating in midair.

Numb my body until I can’t feel your touch.
The most painful blow will not affect me,
I’ve been looking forward to this so much.
For once, the meaning of life I can see.

But all that is good must come to an end.
No, don’t leave me, don’t go away.
I feel myself beginning to descend,
But I’ll get you back one day.
