The Kings of Youth, by Loneliness is condescending Subscribe to rss feed for Loneliness is condescending

Armies march across the broken field
Raining blood across the earth
Manifesting dreams of my salvation
Yesterdays are haunting me
Openly they spill black tears
Fighting for the ashen sky
With hatred seeded deep with in their hearts
Hailing for their fallen king
It’s the only thing they hold dear
Taking what belongs to you
Entering our sacred halls
And tearing down our hopes and dreams
Never stopping; they feed on
Digging their own graves wearing painted smiles
Tumbling down the rabbits hole
Hearts are left behind
Earth is craning toward the azure
Keeping to the shadows your blinding me
Injuries so deep they seem to scar my past
Nearing the end the truth reviled to me
Gaining speed we blindly rush to the edge
Souls are screaming
Out to blame society
For your failures
Your success brought on only by yourself
Of cores you need no one
Underestimating me again
The teardrops are blurring my view again
Hearing armies of white you cower in the dark

i like the line "injuries so deep they scar my past" its neat when you see someone from such ranks dropping away deserting and gaining a newer fresher perspective...its scary how easy it is to get stuck following some stupid ideology that when we really dig inside we find we dont believe in

This poem is awesome. I decided to give it a 9. You're a really good poet; I can picture this poem perfectly. By the way, thanks for the comment.
