Shadows of nothing drift across my face
Empty words of a fallen promise
The book I need, the words I say
Mean nothing more then dust
More then ash but less than life
Conversing lies of empty eyes
With time it shows an adverse foes
Wishing more then time and everything was fine
Silence of the hollow soul
Someone I would never know
It’s been a bleak December to end it if I could
With the cold to press my skin I’m too afraid to live
I say I live my life with no regrets
Conversing lies of empty eyes
With time it shows an adverse foes
Wishing more then time and everything was fine
And then the fear with every crowd a sneer
Even with their word lost this should be the cost
To sit forever lone and never a tone
