My Idea of Fun, by Kirsty (living in the light) Subscribe to rss feed for <font color= Kirsty (living in the light)">

Sitting by the fire eating roasted chestnuts and watching
the flames lick the coal. Sipping hot chocolate and watching
the snowflakes fall silently to the ground. Sitting under a
warm blanket reading a nice book or a letter from a loved
one. Or even better drinking a hot drink while listening to
the little children's laughter as they play board games.

Sitting underneath the willow watching the world go past,
the river running by in a rush. Barbeque parties with loving
friends and family. Summer holiday with the family or long
days at Cropthorne. Candles burning on a summer night, the
flame barely moving. Children playing football, or tennis or
badminton, having fun. Laying back in the middle of a field
while the sun goes down noting God's beauty. Taking dog for
a long walk and playing fetch games with them.

Taking walks with a friend down a path covered with autumn
leaves. There colours reflecting the colours of the fire.
Walking down moonlit streets as the stars twinkle above.
Taking the dog for a walk and watching as he runs straight
through the piles of leaves collecting under trees and
laughing as they fly up and then come back down hiding the
god underneath.

Seeing the flowers bloom and blossom tree's petals falling
like snow. Seeing the baby birds and swans. Seeing the
gardens flourish and bloom. Seeing God's beauty show itself
again once the winter seasons have gone.

That is my idea of fun.
