We look upon our fellow kin,
Projecting an mirage across their skin,
Covering up the beauty within,
Is this really what is there?
Or only what we don't refuse to see?

We label the people that pass us by,
too insecure to see their true lives,
too afraid of our own hidden elements,
Do we judge people for who they are?
Or do we judge to heal our own pains?

A book can define the words of men,
but what is the true meaning of words?
To define, to determine the qualities of?
What does it mean?
That mankind can determine what's what?

We aren't meant to understand,
We aren't here to decide upon what's been for all time.
We are here to live our lives to the best we can,
WE are here to be self-less,
to be true to not only others, but to ourselves.
We're here to live, undefined.
