She's safe now
Away from the things in this world
That brought her to her knees
They saw her faults
And only her faults
Never saw past the lonliness
The sleepless nights
When she was too scared to leave
When she was too scared to stay
They saw fear, anger, pain, but
Only when it was too late
We saw her
For who she really was
A quiet girl who loved her life
But not the people in it
We kept her sane
They drove her mad
She's there because of them
There....there is far away
Far from the ones who love her
The ones who need her
They locked her up
She's not a mental case
She's a problem they can't fix
And hide away
