I walk through the miles of perishing trees
That had once been overflowing with auburn leaves
As I look all around me
The leaves from the trees had carelessly fallen to the
ground
Only to be stepped upon
Over and over
Like a helpless animal
The leaves slowly fade from existence
Until autumn comes again
The sparrows and ravens flutter through the sky
In hope of finding a warmer place for the winter
To find protection from the long, cold nights to come
Rabbits scamper into their burrows
Cooped up in a warm, comfy enviroment
I watch single rose petal falling to the ground
The wind carries it into the atmosphere
Never to be seen again
The sky slowly grows darker
And the enormous clouds cover the setting sun
The moon slowly but distinctly rises
And I start to head home
Shivering and lacking a jacket
I walk toward my home
I see the Christmas tree elaborately decorated
And I realize
Autumn has finally ended
