I Remember, by Kendall Subscribe to rss feed for Kendall

In life we're given families
to teach us how to love
though taken far to early
you still teach me from above

Keeping alive your memory
has never been hard to do
Remembering the love you gave to me
is what sees me through

The closeness that I felt with you
will nothing else compare
You taught me what true love was
now with my children I share

That rocking chair we sat in
resides now in my home
I rocked my own kids in it
its tradition I'll pass on

I loved you when you were here
and still though you are not
That special love that we shared
I have not forgot
