My Mothers Fight, by Kendall Subscribe to rss feed for Kendall

Mom always wanted more for me
than I wanted for myself.
Watching as I destroyed my life,
the pain she must have felt.

Most choices I've made in life
cut her deep within.
Knowing she was powerless
to save me once again.

Not willing to let me runaway
with no chance of return.
Fighting every step I made
praying I would learn.

Stepping back she realized
it's my war to fight.
She could only be there
always holding tight.

No matter what I said or did
her love I've never lost
Its her love which gives me strength
to win at any cost

I loved this! It really shows how a mother could never give up on their child and their love for them.
