The Sunrise Rainbow of My Imagination, by Sunshine24 Subscribe to rss feed for Sunshine24

I see God paint
The sky with an array of watercolors
Set aflame by the waking sun.
Tender rose mingles
With soft orange and dissolves,
Into an innocent yellow.
I see this image with my heart
For my eyes don’t have the ability to do so.

I see a rainbow-
Bands of mellow color;
Each hue melts into the next,
A smooth arch towards heaven,
Ribbons of rare perfection.
This beauty is seen with my imagination
Through my mind’s eye.

Tell me,
Can you feel the beauty of these emotions
As I do every day?
With your heart,
With your imagination,
In your dreams.

Although I can’t see,
My vision is clearer
Than that of many,
For I see the world with my heart
Through the kaleidoscope of my imagination
As my sun rises and my rainbow comes out.
