Me they will Forget

Can i speak a thousand words,
leave them lying at your feet?
there's nothing that i will not do
to keep you close to me.
the air is freezing me to this spot,
lonley, lost, everything forgot.
she walked right up to me,
and gently looked away,
"I told you not to chase the wind,
and now here you will remain."
i pondered over sad dead words,
then spoke with frozen breath,
"Then here i'll stay,
and rot away,
and soon my name they will forget."
she turned to me again,
fire spreading in her eyes.
"Alright then little sister,
keep telling me these lies.
you talk as if it's he you hate,
but it's you that you despise."
i guess i must have glared at her,
but i can not recall,
because before i had the chance,
i began to slowly fall.
"This doom you brought upon yourself,"
she whispered as i fell.
"You'll be stuck now for eternity."
was the last thing i could hear,
before i reached oblivion,
and the darkness filled my ears.
