I’m looking
For things to change
I’m looking
For my life to change
It’s all the same in
It’s all the same out
It’s inescapable
Like a sin
Time
If it were
Mine
It’d be incredible
Undefiable
Yet to eternal
C: what is it like, God?
To have control
What is it like to know?
What is it like, God?
To let time creep so slowly
When I’m so lonely
What is it like, God?
To own our souls
What is it like to know?
What is it like, God?
To let things speed up
When all I ask is for a little bit longer
I’m waiting for things to change
I’m waiting for my life to change
It’s all the same here
It’s all the same there
It’s undestroyable
Like a sin
Time
If it were
Mine
It’d be manageable
Indescribable
Yet to
Eternal
C
What is it like, my father?
To not spare one second of the day
To fulfill a dream
What are you thinking, my lord?
When all I want is one touch from
Him
It could be a second or less
And yet is still too much to ask for
To much to ask for

It's never too much to ask for... and He is listening. *smiles* Cool poem though!

I have read several of your poems, you are very writer, you know how to write to hold one's interest. You have many poems i liked but this is the one I liked most! Who has never questioned God? I think everyone has at one time or another. ...listen and you will hear hos answer painted back to you in the sky above the ocean body! (That was so Beautiful ,the way you wrote the poem.) You do hear God in many ways.It shows in your Poetry. Good work!
