Hidden Shadows, by Mirashteb Subscribe to rss feed for Mirashteb

Laying in the grass,
Holding hands, feeling free,
Hearing the voice of the dearest one.

The dream has just started, summer's begun,
In a room crowded full of faces,
Looking to meet with your eyes in the places.

Places that speak of your delicateness,
The fragile and tender.
Reach out to touch a strand of your hair,
Fragance of joy that was never before there.

A longing makes itself manifest,
A desire is waking in the heart,
Elevating itself above the rest,

Lose control over the limbs and tounge,
Speaking words my mind told me to ignore.
Reaching out to hold what's not mine.

Spinning and spinning beyond control,
Fading into the background, I run.
I know now, you'll not see me, as I see you,
I'm just in the shadows waiting for you.

Water is flowing slowly slipping away,
My vision is blurred by this pain,
I long to have all the attention you give,
My heart is sinking, quickly drowning,
You'll see me so I hope, in the shadows,
Hidden, someday, some day... not today.

...this one gives me that whistful, but sad feeling of knowing. What you're expressing is very well written. ~Dela~
