Suicide prt. 3, by little_irish_rose Subscribe to rss feed for little_irish_rose

 He called out my name,
but his voice was low and distant...
His tears landed on my cheeks,
and for one hopeful instant...

 I was in his arms,
he said he was to blaim...
His eyes were full of tear drops,
his face was filled with shame...

He held on to me so tightly,
as if it would make things okay...
His mouth opened with silent words,
he didn't know what to say...

 It felt like an eternity,
lying there in his grip...
But then my eyes went blury,
I could feel myself begin to slip...

Now I'm watching from above me,
as he begs me not to close my eyes...
"Baby please don't go! I love you"
are his helpless cries...

I wish I could have known that,
before I tore myself apart...
If only he would have spoken,
what was in his heart...

I'm sorry he didn't say that,
I'm sorry I didn't know,
that he loved me and he cared for me.
I'm sorry but I must go...
