You're My Lullaby, by Cutie In A Death Cab Subscribe to rss feed for Cutie In A Death Cab

I'm staring at the ceiling
And by now I've memorized
Each and every detail
With my restless eyes

Occasionally I'll turn
And glance over at the wall
I'm aquainted with all four of them
Ornaments and all

I wish that they could whistle
And sing lullabies to me
Send me into dreamland
With a changing of the keys

Counting sheep is useless
I lose track right away
And soon enough I'm staring
At the ceiling once again

Someone call The Sandman
And tell him where I live
I could use some of his magic
If he's willing to give

Or I could just think of you
And pretend you're here with me
In your arms I'm resting
Suddenly..
          I'm..
               Asleep...
