A Pretty Smile, by Cutie In A Death Cab Subscribe to rss feed for Cutie In A Death Cab

I can't cry
On my own shoulder
So I sit
And I grow colder

I can't run
Where would I go?
So I stay
And sink down low

I can't hide
There is no place
So I show
My frightened face

But all of this
Goes on in here
Inside my head
Filled up with fear

You don't know
Because I don't tell
If I did
I know you'd yell

You'd make me talk
And take those pills
Those one's that numb me
And cause large bills

So I wear
A pretty smile
It keeps you clueless
All the while
