they burn me
deep inside my soul

Points of light
peering into my depths
desire and hate
mingling with pain
becoming one

Ripping through me
your icy touch invades
rising tides of wanting
filling me full
of you

Those eyes of fire
brighter than the sun
burning away 
what I once was
and will never be
again
