It's like a constant memory
of how we used to be

The more i try to forget about you

i have to force myself not to think about you

the harder i be on myself, the more i want to cry
it never ever stops
even when i'm in bed at night
and when i'm in the shops

i see couples together happily
it makes me feel so sad
i start to think about me and you
and all the times we had

I am wishing for the day you come back to me
and tell me you changed for good
but that never looks likely to happen
but i really think it should

because we can be good together
if we really try
we can really make a go of it
and you will never see me cry

you see, it makes so much sense
however confusing it may be
i need you in my troubled life
