Dancing Figures, by No Child Is Innocent Once Born Subscribe to rss feed for No Child Is Innocent Once Born

Dancing figures around the room;
Playing with my mind;
I watch them dance and let them shine;
Just for a little while.

Until the candle enders,
And I am all alone,
I sit here in the dark,
And wait till I am home.

The footsteps come again,
I hear them from the hall,
They are getting closer now,
And I am wondering how.

How can people get here?
I thought I was all alone,
Can’t someone save me,
And I just want to go home.

The figures are back playing with my mind,
They are dancing round me , they are coming alive,
I want to make them stop, but cant do a thing,
So that’s when I hear it, I start to hear them sing.

I am going mad now I’m wanting it to stop,
tell me why they wont go, they just leave me here to rot,
I’m asking you this? Please save me from this place
Save me from this cruel world and just let me be myself.
