Cupid's Target, by Cutie In A Death Cab Subscribe to rss feed for Cutie In A Death Cab

To feel something inside my heart
Even if it were to break apart
A pain, a joy, it makes no matter
Though I'd definitely prefer the latter

Possibly my heart is asleep
Emotions lay dormant in a huge heap
It's to the point where I long to weep
Cries might awaken my heart from a sleep so deep

Life, walk into my death
Instigate another breath
Tear my heart and make it bleed
Nurture me with seed or weed

It's been too long since I've fallen hard
Maybe because I'm on such guard
Now i wish for starry eyes
And even lies though it's unwise

Should Cupid choose to aim for me
I'll stand a target easy to see
Then as red hearts float from my head
I will feel no longer dead
