Nowhere kids are plying up outside
Unaware of the world inside
Winding up with soul empty smiles
Humble eyes alight with absent compassion
Generation raised by TV. Sets
Running wild in black boxes of restricted cables
Self-prepared to amount to less then failure
Kids smile blankly day after day
Insightful doctors pass out bottled joy
Draining out the resistances
Frozen smile
Smile now smile always someone’s always watching

*chuckles* i dont mean to make light of this poem for it does have a serious tone but i cant help but at least grin the last line was picturesque, beautiful and sadly true...i remember several time smiling simply cause id been preached at to do so, and we wonder why kids go crazy......
