Inside My Sinking Boat, by Cutie In A Death Cab Subscribe to rss feed for Cutie In A Death Cab

Can't drink it all away
Can't carve it all away
Can't dream it all away
The pain won't go away

Dancing on tabletops
and kissing cute boys
All my little vices
have become my favorite toys

You can cut to stop the bleeding
but it really makes no sense
You can dream to push reality
into the past tense

No pleasure lasts forever
and the pain comes back times two
It swallows up my smiles
and spits out spats of blue

So here I go again
trying to stay afloat
Drinking, carving, dreaming
inside my sinking boat
