The Night Creature
I prefer night rather than day
When all distractions are out of the way
I listen to nature without being seen
I think of myself as being supreme

I do not eat people, but I do eat raw meat
So I guess I am really unique
The bloodier the better is to my taste
And not one morsel do I waste

Also my blue eyes do not like the sun
So they close in sleep before day has begun
I like cloudy days where I fly about
And look for some yummy rainbow trout

I also love roses of red
They can delay my going to bed
The roses remind me of raw meat that's bleeding
Of which I am so hungrily needing

I love mother nature, though she is old
She's told me some stories that's never been told
I am warned of a severe coming snow storm
Mother does everything to keep me warm

I am part Indian also you see
I have within me one eighth degree
But my human form is a lie
I shall shock all by and by

We are being readied
For when earth is no more
And we are being steadied
'Til we walk through that door

We are evolving into something unique
That's why we long hours in daylight sleep
No one will know us when we are all done
We are special and the new day has begun.

I wrote this one also. Another you have stolen from me, and I have witness to all my poems you have stolen.
