Dreams, by Rodriguez De Paulo Subscribe to rss feed for Rodriguez De Paulo

You dream a dream away from your life,
Away from the madness, the pain so rife.

Away from the bullies that hurt you so bad.
Away from the school that still drives you mad.

Away from the faces that are never true.
Away from the people that always hate you.

Away from the tears, the knife in your hand.
Off to a good place, an enchanted land.

Away from the blood that runs right through.
Away from your Grandma’s awful stew.

Away from the life you hate so much.
Away from the hopes and dreams you’ll never touch.

Away from the joke, that your life is a con.
If life is so bad, there’s no need for one.

And then you’ll be able to live in your dream.
Away from the bitches, the bullies so mean.

Away from the faces, the hate and the fears.
Away from the knife, the blood and the tears.

For then you will realise what happiness is.
It’s not on this world, this place where we live.

It’s up in a place extremely high.
The place where you go, right after you die.

:( Thats a sad poem. The last line is really quite powerful. Do you really think you wont be happy? Or are you just emphasising an idea?

A bit of both! I guess im emphasising the idea that life on earth is hard and when we die its supposed to become more easier. Whether i will be happy in my life on earth is another question?
