Light of my life, by Debra Subscribe to rss feed for Debra

As the rays of sunshine down, I am fixed on standing my
ground.
The light of my life makes me want to fight. I will stand
for that light from day to night.
The innocence the light will bring, simply means everything.
I can't let it go down, because I don't know what lyes
beneath the ground. The battle is on I hear the roar, I
shoot my arrows and let them soar. I go to fight for the
light of my life, because I must keep you shining, if I
don't it hurts like a knife cutting into my skin, I pray it
doesn't sever anything within.
As rays of sun shine down I am fixed on standing my ground.
As, I hit my knees from the pain within, I will give up and
call on Him.
Jesus alone is what will save me and you, I tell myself
until my face goes blue. I am done fighting this fight my
Lord its all on you.
