***ESCAPING THE HERD***, by chicken scratch love Subscribe to rss feed for chicken scratch love

They move in even numbers
A harmonic drive
Like bees to the hive
Ignorant to their blunders

I'm choosing to go West
Uneven miles
No plastic smiles
Done feeling like a "guest"

The Human Herd is on the move
A perfect line
Every time
With their calibrated hooves

I do not mean to judge
But would rather be a smudge

On a "Perfect World"
You can HAVE your pearl!

Because, alone, I shall trudge
