Look in the Mirror , by Laura Glossop Subscribe to rss feed for Laura Glossop

That girl you see with the fiery eyes?,
inside she cries and hugs her pillow at night,
That boy you see who tried to take his own life,
he watched his own mother killed by his dads knife,
The old woman who lives in a box on the street?
she lost all her family and will never forget what she
seen,
The local man who always shouts and swears?
he hears voices in his head he wishes were not there.
The scruffy girl who smells of urine ?
she lives in a hostel and has no shower for the morning.
The little girl who hits her own mum ,
her dad taught her that since she was so young.
The person you see looking in the mirror?
judgmental and ignorant and may god forgive her
