Awakening, by Zgjim Subscribe to rss feed for Zgjim

Sitting in the floor alone, in my room
He is in front of me
Staring at me, with his shattered eyes.
What have I done to you?
No answer.
Don’t you want to keep paying the privilege of living?
He tries to stop the pumping.
I wont let him. I need him. He doesn’t need me.
Asking me what is left when you don’t live pleasing me?
I was searching for your joy all my life
Leaving behind all my dreams
All you gave me was what you not are
The opposite of what you stand
You don’t deserve to live in our time
This age is not made for me to walk with you.
He fades in his own ashes in the faith that he can be reborn
someday.
